Terms of Service

Welcome to TD Wellbeing.

These Terms of Service explain how services are provided and what you can expect when accessing support through TD Wellbeing.

By booking or engaging in services, you agree to thee terms.

 

1. About TD Wellbeing

TD Wellbeing is owned and operated by Tracey Davies, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and sole trader.

Where affiliate practitioners are listed on this website, they operate independently and maintain responsibility for their own bookings, records and professional practice. 

 

2. Services

TD Wellbeing provides therapeutic counselling, coaching, supervision and telehealth services. These services are not crisis or emergency supports.

3. Your rights and responsibilities

Clients can expect:

  • respectful and compassionate care

  • services delivered in accordance with professional and ethical standards

  • informed decision making and collaborative goal setting

  • Privacy and confidentiality within professional and legal limits

Clients are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information

  • attending appointments

  • meeting payment obligations

  • communicating changes to appointments proomptly

 

4. Privacy & Confidentiality

TD Wellbeing complies with the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles.

 

Information is managed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Confidentiality statement availble on this website.

 

5. Fees and Payment

  • Fees are reviewed periodically and published on the website.

  • Payment is required at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

  • Outstanding fees may delay future appointments.

 

6. Appointments and Cancellations

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice or non attendance will incur the full session fee. 

  • ​If you arrive more than 15 minutes late the appointment the session will be forfeited and full session fee charged.

  • If you arrive late, the appointment may need to be shortened at end at the original time.

  • ​Repeated late cancellations or non attendance may affet future appointment availability

 

7. Telehealth

Telehealth sessions use secure platforms.

 

Clients are responsible for ensuring:

  • a private and safe environment

  • internet access and device functionality

  • confidentiality within their chosen location

 

While every reasonable safeguards are used, technology has limitations beyond practitioner control.

 

8. Funding & Rebates

Where eligible, services may be accessed through Medicare, private health insurance, or NDIS arrangements. Clients remain responsible for understanding eligibility and claim requirements.

 

9. Professional Standards and Liability

Services are delivered in good faith using professional and evidence informed standards.

Support aims to assist wellbeing and change; however, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

 

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. The current version will remain avaiable on this website.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.

Privacy Policy

TD Wellbeing is committed to protecting your privacy. I follow the Privacy Act 1988, the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and relevant health records laws.

1. What I Collect

I may collect personal and sensitive information such as:

  • Your name, date of birth, gender and contact details

  • Information about your health, wellbeing, and medical history

  • Referral details, reports from other health professionals

  • Payment and billing details

  • Information collected through intake forms, phone, email, telehealth, or in session

 

2. Why I Collect It

I collect your information to:

  • Provide counselling, coaching, and supervision services

  • Manage bookings, billing, and administration

  • Communicate with other professionals involved in your care (with your consent)

  • Meet legal, ethical and professional obligations

 

3. How I Use and Share Information

I will only share your information:

  • With your consent

  • If required by law (for example, child protection, or a court order)

  • If there is a serious risk of harm to you or others

 

4. Security and Retention

Your information is stored securely using password-protected and encrypted systems. Records are retained as required by law (7 years or until age 25 for children) and securely destroyed when no longer needed.

5. Access and Correction

You may request access to your information or ask for corrections if details are inaccurate. Please contact us in writing.

6. Data Breaches

If your data is compromised in a way that may cause serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

7. Cookies and Website Use

My website and website host Wix, use cookies or analytics to improve your experience. This data is anonymous and not used to personally identify you.

 

8. Complaints about Privacy

Confidentiality Statement

Confidentiality is an important part of therapeutic and professional support.

 

1. What You Can Expect

  • Information you share in counselling, coaching or supervision sessions is kept private.

  • Notes and records are stored securely and are only accessed by your practitioner.

  • We will not share your information without your consent.

 

2. Limits to Confidentiality

There are a few situations where we may need to share information without your consent:

  • If there is a serious risk of harm to you or others

  • If we are legally required (for example, child protection or a court order)

  • If disclosure is necessary to protect public safety

 

3. Telehealth and Confidentiality

If you use telehealth, we recommend you choose a private, safe space where you cannot be overheard. Your clinician will confirm your identity and location at the start of each session.  Your clinician may confirm your emergency contact details where clinically relevant.

 

4. Affiliate Practitioners

Affiliate practitioners listed on the TD Wellbeing website manage their own bookings, records, and confidentiality processes. TD Wellbeing is not responsible for their services.

Cancellation Policy 

Appointments are reserved specifically for you and timely notice helps ensure support remains available for others

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or missed will incur the full session fee.

  • If you have not arrived within 15 minutes of your appointment and contact has not been made, the appointment will be considered as non attendance and the full fee will apply.

  • If TD Wellbeing needs to reschedule an appointment, as much notice as possible will be provided and an alternative appointment offered.
